Job description

Travel RN - Operating Room - First Assist

American Traveler is seeking a credentialed RNFA for a 13-week OR First Assist travel assignment in California, requiring CNOR, CRNFA, and prior travel experience.

Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00โ€“18:00)

Weekends: 2 weekends per month required

Call: Split call coverage shared with another RNFA

Location: Acute care hospital in California

Requirements:

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and CRNFA
  • Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Must complete a health system credentialing application upon offer acceptance โ€” this process may take several weeks
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information:

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment
