We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers (RN) in the Jersey City area to support workers' compensation cases on a flexible 1099 basis.

Position Overview
As a Field Nurse Case Manager, you will coordinate medical care for injured workers while acting as a liaison between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys. You will help guide treatment plans, monitor recovery progress, and support safe, timely return-to-work outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans for injured workers
  • Attend medical appointments and evaluate treatment progression
  • Communicate with providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers
  • Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
  • Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
  • Assist with return-to-work planning and transitional duty coordination
  • Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations as needed
Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • Minimum 3 years of Workers' Compensation Field Case Management experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
  • Proficient with technology and electronic documentation systems
  • Reliable transportation for travel throughout Jersey City and surrounding areas
  • Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain
  • CCM, CRRN, or related certifications preferred
