Job description

Support Technician – Managed Service Provider (MSP)

Location: Richardson, TX (Serving DFW Metroplex)
Employment Type: Full-Time


Role Overview


The Support Technician provides technical assistance to clients across diverse environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced MSP setting.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver remote and onsite technical support for client systems
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, networks, printers, and cloud services
  • Manage and document support tickets with accuracy and professionalism
  • Assist with new user, device, and client on-boarding
  • Monitor and maintain systems using RMM tools
  • Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and common business applications
  • Escalate advanced issues to senior engineering staff when appropriate
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through reliable service



Qualifications


  • 1–3 years of IT support experience (MSP experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Experience with RMM/PSA platforms
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional onsite visits
