RMF Engineer

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a RMF Engineer to support CyberPRIMES cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R). Responsibilities

  • Support timely, accurate, and complete RMF authorization packages and review SSPs, categorization, control selection, implementation assessments, authorization packages, and monitoring reports.
  • Maintain RMF schedules, authorization trackers, repositories, eMASS packages, workflows, accounts, tickets, and status information.
  • Coordinate with system owners and stakeholders, identify missing artifacts and content gaps, and provide RMF and eMASS guidance.
  • Support ISSM and ISSO functions, including compliance reviews, POA&M and ATO-condition tracking, control implementation review, and authorization-status reporting.
  • Perform quality assurance on RMF submissions and support security assessment planning, reporting, continuous authorization, and migration to new DoD policies.
  • Apply cybersecurity-engineering or intermediate information-assurance expertise, as applicable to the assigned LCAT, to risk assessment, security testing, authorization, hardening, vulnerability analysis, POA&M remediation, and compliance troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.
