WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Purchasing Team, the Warranty/RMA Specialist is responsible for managing the return of non-conforming materials to suppliers and maintaining accurate, organized records throughout the return process. This role ensures all return information is complete and accurate, analyzes warranty and RMA data to identify recurring issues and trends, and collaborates with suppliers and internal departments to resolve warranty claims and material disputes. The Warranty/RMA Specialist also coordinates the logistics of returned materials and helps drive continuous improvement in product quality and supplier performance. Some overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Process returns for non-conforming materials and products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate replacement parts and repair activities for warranty claims
  • Manage the logistics of shipping returned materials to and from suppliers
  • Resolve supplier disputes and warranty claims related to returned parts and materials
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of all warranty and RMA transactions
  • Review return information for accuracy and completeness before processing
  • Analyze warranty and RMA data to identify recurring product or supplier issues and communicate trends to management
  • Maintain and organize RMA inventory and returned materials
  • Assist Customer Service with RMA processing as needed
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Administration, Accounting, Customer Service, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure efficient resolution of warranty issues
  • Maintain, review, and update warranty and RMA procedures, creating new documentation as needed
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Required

    • Experience in Warranty Administration, Returns Processing, or Return Material Authorization (RMA)
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
    • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

    Helpful but not required

    • Experience working in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail

    COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

    Monday Friday
    7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

    Starting Pay: $24-$30/hr.
