Job description

TITLE: QUALITY COORDINATOR
DEPT.: QUALITY
REPORTS TO: President
EXEMPT STATUS: Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: The Qualty Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of product quality, quality logs, calibration logs, and ISO9001:2015 implementation and auditing.

INTERACTION WITH: All Departments

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain data bases, records and logs in accordance with ISO standards
2. Assist with incoming inspections of raw material, purchased parts and new part approvals
3. Perform technical analyses to eliminate variation in our processes
4. Perform execution of 1st Piece and 1st Article inspections
5. Perform In-Process random inspections
6. Perform process capability studies
7. Verify proper calibration and operation of all measuring equipment and meters and maintains calibration logs
8. Performs Data Collection, SPC, PFMEA, Inspection Plans, Flow Plans, and PPAP
9. Manages and resolves issues related to nonconforming product
10. Responds to and performs root cause analysis and corrective action for all quality complaints or concerns
11. Trainer for ISO9001:2015 and product quality requirements
12. Works with management in preparation of Management Review
13. Inspect and repack damaged product from Finish Goods area
14. Move repacked and reworked product to Finish Goods area
15. Help with 100% inspection of suspect product
16. Perform product audits on floor and finished goods areas
17. Identify opportunities for quality improvements
18. Responsible for planning, organizing, and reporting results of internal audits to management
19. Receive and Process RMA Product in Epicor
20. Supply information about RMA’s to customer service and finance departments about returned RMA’s Update inventory status and cycling of materials (Q.C. Hold, RTV, Rework, etc.)
21. Other functions as required and assigned by supervisor

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. 3-5 years experience or equivalent work experience in the inspection and/or quality profession
2. Good understanding of inspection methods and techniques and understanding and implementation of receiving goods sampling, auditing techniques
3. Able to read and understand blueprints
4. Detailed understand of an MRP system (Epicor knowledge preferred).
5. Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
6. Good oral and written communication skills.
7. Some lifting required.
