Joint Pain Solution Center is a growing physician-owned practice specializing in non-surgical arthritis and musculoskeletal care. We help patients avoid unnecessary surgery through advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and personalized treatment plans.

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their clinical skills while working alongside a board-certified physician committed to exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

  • Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections
  • Set up and maintain sterile procedure trays and equipment
  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
  • Prepare PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) processing equipment (training provided)
  • Administer injections and medications as permitted by Florida law
  • Clean, sterilize, and stock examination and procedure rooms
  • Accurately document patient information within the EMR (Athena)
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions
  • Answer phones and assist with general front office duties when needed
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records
  • Positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills

Preferred

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
  • Orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or urgent care experience
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Experience assisting with procedures
  • Athenahealth EMR experience

Compensation

Starting pay: Up to $22 per hour for experienced Medical Assistants, based on qualifications and experience.
