About the Position

Pleaser USA is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Service / Account Manager to join our team at our corporate office and distribution headquarters in Walnut, California. Pleaser USA, Inc is a global leader in fashion-forward and alternative footwear, serving customers in more than 200 countries worldwide

Our headquarters operates in an industrial corporate environment where multiple departments work closely together to coordinate daily operations, serve our customers, and resolve challenges efficiently.

This position is primarily responsible for managing customer orders and inquiries through our online ordering system, telephone, and email. The Account Manager will build and maintain strong business relationships with customers by providing responsive service, identifying their needs, and offering product assortment and purchasing suggestions when appropriate.

This is a non-face-to-face customer service position, with most customer communication conducted by phone, email, and our online ordering system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer orders through our online ordering system, phone, and email.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Assist customers with product selection, assortment, and purchasing recommendations.
  • Conduct business reviews with customers and identify opportunities to improve their product assortment.
  • Manage day-to-day RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) requests and follow through to resolution.
  • Check product availability and inventory status for customers.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and established practices.
  • Perform other customer service and account management duties as needed.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and efficiently use various software applications and online systems.
  • Experience with order entry, inventory, CRM, or e-commerce systems is a plus.

Language & Communication Skills

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers by phone and email.
  • Strong spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
