Job description

The Medical Assistant Instructor will deliver an outcomes-focused, hands-on educational program and will actively monitor and track individual student progress and provide mediation and direction as needed. The instructor should be well versed in Medical Terminology, Laboratory Safety (OSHA), Infection Control, Appointment Scheduling, EHR usage, Filing, Medical Law and Ethics, Vital Signs, assisting in a Physical Exam, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculation, and Medication Administration (giving injections). In addition: general knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is required. This instructor will also teach courses about the Special Senses, Nutrition, and the Digestive and Reproductive Systems.

This is a Full-time hybrid role with a blend of on-campus and remote work, including some day and evening hours

Minimum Requirements: Valid RMA, CMA, or other recognized national healthcare certification required. Associates Degree preferred. A minimum of three to five years of healthcare related experience.
