Job description

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for managing and executing daily shipping and receiving operations at the Belton Service Center. This position receives incoming customer equipment and packages, accurately records and processes items in iTrack, prepares and ships customer equipment and products, and ensures materials are properly routed, packaged, documented, and tracked.


The Associate works closely with the Warehouse Manager, customer service, technicians, production, and other warehouse team members to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently while adhering to company policies and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


Receiving

  • Unload incoming packages and shipments from UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
  • Receive and inspect customer devices, equipment, and accessories.
  • Accurately record all received devices and equipment in iTrack.
  • Create a rapid return RMA for each device received that does not already have an RMA.
  • Complete the RMA process for all applicable devices.
  • Document missing accessories and other discrepancies in receiving notes according to customer requirements.
  • Mark devices and equipment with identifying information using appropriate methods.
  • Route received devices and equipment to the appropriate work cell or warehouse location.
  • Notify the assigned customer technician of devices received that have been added to the watch list.
  • Track and maintain records of partial shipments.
  • Count and reconcile physical inventory and assist with daily cycle counts as required.


Shipping

  • Process small parcel shipments using UPS WorldShip, including preparing and printing shipping labels.
  • Prepare and coordinate freight shipments, including scheduling carrier pickups, preparing bills of lading (BOL), and maintaining tracking information.
  • Verify orders by cross-checking iTrack information with customer purchase orders to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Safely and efficiently package products, devices, and equipment using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage.
  • Ensure shipping labels and required documentation are accurate and properly applied or completed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and logs.
  • Provide tracking information and shipment updates to the customer service team as needed.
  • Assist with end-of-day packing and shipping activities.
