Job description

Summary
Responsible for managing a full spectrum of HR functions at client RJR facility, including employee movement and termination documentation, and compliance-related paperwork such as ADA and FMLA. Coordinate and maintain employee records, annual performance reviews, and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes. Conduct internal investigations, manage disciplinary actions and terminations, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly HR reports for leadership. Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, supporting both staff and management on HR policies and procedures.
Job Description:
Maintain and organize employee personnel files with strict attention to confidentiality
Manage HR documentation including onboarding, disciplinary actions, and compliance records
Support day-to-day HR operations (attendance tracking, data entry, reporting)
Conduct initial intake conversations with employees regarding complaints or concerns
Assist in workplace investigations by gathering statements, documenting findings, and maintaining neutrality
Coordinate with HR leadership to ensure timely and consistent resolution of issues
Maintain detailed, accurate, and legally sound documentation of all interactions
Ensure records are compliant with federal and state regulations (e.g., Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act)
Track required postings, certifications, and employee acknowledgments
Support audit preparation and internal compliance reviews
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and procedures
Communicate professionally with employees across production and office environments
Escalate sensitive or complex issues appropriately
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
Help coordinate training sessions and maintain training records
Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
Serve as a back up for any time keeping and payroll related questions

-Will be held accountable to RJR Scorecard
-Respond timely to employee request and investigations
-Maintain accurate reporting of all FMLA and ADA request
-Complete investigation or Employee Relation issues timely

Physical Demands
Position may require individual to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel and reach on occasion.
Position may require frequent traveling to prospective and existing clients.
Work Environment:
Full-time on-site presence at a manufacturing or industrial client location.
Must be comfortable working in an environment with tobacco smoke and odors present.
Exposure to dust and other industrial particulates common to production settings.
Steel-toe shoes must be worn at all times when in designated plant or warehouse areas.
