Molding Engineer. This position provides engineering support for the injection molding/blow molding manufacturing department. All work takes place in a climate-controlled environment.

- Trains members including members from other department in process selection and troubleshooting. - Leads an interdivisional project(s). - Approves Molding Engineering documentation, technical reports, and countermeasure plan(s) based on Moldflow results.

- Presents department update or projects to Steering Committee. - Reviews quote for new molding business submitted by lower level engineers. - An expert in injection molding from a scientific standpoint.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring- A Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 8-12 years' experience in injection/blow molding field or tool design, including a minimum of 2-4 years' experience at CVI and/or CETI is required for placement at this level. - Be an expert in scientific injection molding process. - RJG Master Molder I certified or equivalent.

- RJG Master Molder II or equivalent preferred. - Able to guide less experienced engineers to perform IQ, OQ, and PQ validation process. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Proquis.

- Ability to create and present presentations and/or technical papers to management within and outside of Canon Virginia. - Fluent in electronic CAD systems: NX, SolidWorks, Pro/E, OSD. - Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
