Job description

Job Overview

Ritz-Craft is seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to grow and manage a defined sales territory through strategic builder relationships, business development, and consultative sales execution.

This is not a passive account management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market share, developing new builder relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and managing projects from opportunity through order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is a driven B2B sales professional with experience in construction, building products, modular/off-site construction, or related industries who understands how to balance relationship management with disciplined sales execution.

This position requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage a complex consultative sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a defined geographic sales territory
  • Prospect for and cultivate new builder/dealer relationships
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account development and market penetration
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, presentations, and business reviews
  • Qualify opportunities and guide customers through the sales process
  • Interpret blueprints, floorplans, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Develop pricing estimates, proposals, and solution-based presentations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with estimating, engineering, operations, customer service, and internal sales support teams
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking within CRM
  • Monitor territory performance metrics and execute territory growth plans
  • Represent Ritz-Craft at industry events, trade shows, builder meetings, and customer engagements
  • Travel throughout assigned territory as required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel regularly
  • Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years of negotiation and consultative selling experience
  • Experience managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
  • Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and sales presentations
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong customer relationship management mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in modular construction, manufactured housing, residential construction, commercial construction, or building products
  • Experience selling through builder/dealer channels
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
  • Experience with Chief Architect or similar design software
  • Territory sales management experience
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning experience

What Success Looks Like

Successful Regional Sales Managers at Ritz-Craft:

  • Consistently grow territory revenue
  • Build long-term builder relationships based on trust and execution
  • Effectively manage both prospecting and existing account development
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
  • Collaborate internally to deliver a high-quality customer experience
  • Act as trusted advisors-not order takers

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to work in office, manufacturing, construction, and customer site environments
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry sales materials and equipment up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to safely navigate construction sites and manufacturing facilities
  • Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, and related documents with attention to detail
