(D.C.J.D.C.) in Nashville, Tennessee

Rite of Passage is a leading national provider of programs and opportunities for troubled and at-risk youth from social services, welfare agencies, and juvenile courts.  With an emphasis on evidence-based practices and positive skill development, combined with our supportive and therapeutic approach, our organization is respected by industry experts as a highly effective solution for our youth.  Since 1984, over 25,000 youths have entered and completed our programs.  ROP has built its reputation on running life-changing educational treatment programs that positively contribute to the community.

Pay: $ 22- $30per hour based on experience

What you will do: As the Maintenance Worker performs work orders such as general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, re-lighting, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc. Maintains the vehicle fleet. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

To be considered you should:  Possess a high school diploma. Prior building maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.  

Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM
