Job description

Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies for 90 years, and we are looking for dependable drivers to join our team!
We are starting $19 to $25 an hour. Hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm with weekends off!  
Job Description
The driver will load, deliver, and unload at customer job sites. They will also help with cabinets in the warehouse when there are no deliveries to be made. The driver must have strong customer service skills as he/she will represent Rite Rug to our customers.
Key requirements:
  • Driver’s license with clean driving record, no CDL required
  • Ability to drive 26,000-pound air-brake non-CDL box truck, 16’ box trucks and vans.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds
  • Prior construction or manufacturing industry experience desired, but not required
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently, strong personal accountability and dependability
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US

 Delivery Driver Basic Requirements

  • Must be able to pass DOT physical (We pay for the certification)
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Successfully pass a background check
  • All drivers are subject to drug and alcohol testing throughout employment
  • 1 – 3 months of related driving delivery trucks or vans is preferred but will train the right candidate

A good driving record including none of the following:

  • Reckless driving
  • DUI/OMVI
  • Hit and Run
  • Excessive Speed as defined by DOT (15+ miles over)
  • No Preventable accidents. No more than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
