Ice Maker / Treat Team Member

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal (Flexible Scheduling Available)

At Rita’s Italian Ice, we serve cool treats and create even cooler experiences. We’re looking for a dependable, energetic Ice Maker to join our team and help craft the fresh, delicious Italian Ice our guests love.

Position Overview

As an Ice Maker, you’ll be responsible for preparing our signature Italian Ice flavors, maintaining product quality, and ensuring our production areas meet the highest cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh batches of Italian Ice according to company recipes and standards

  • Measure, mix, and operate ice-making equipment safely and efficiently

  • Monitor product consistency, flavor quality, and freshness

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and storage areas

  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Assist team members during busy periods as needed

  • Track inventory levels and notify management of supply needs

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old

  • Ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable and punctual
