Early Childhood Mental Health Therapy Intern (Paid Internship)

Location: Greater Cincinnati, OH
Internship Term: 2026-2027

What Youโ€™ll Do

As an Early Childhood Mental Health Therapy Intern, you will work under the supervision of an independently licensed counselor or social worker to provide mental health services tailored to children and families. This is a hands-on role where youโ€™ll gain experience in multiple settings and learn best practices in clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy (agency-based and community-based)
  • Develop treatment plans and facilitate interventions
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and evaluate client progress
  • Assist with crisis management and stabilization
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community resources
  • Attend supervision and professional development trainings
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Current enrollment in a Masterโ€™s program in Social Work
  • Certification SWT required
