YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE

The Repertoire & Clearance Administrator manages and coordinates the rights of use and authorization of musical repertoires. The role ensures that all legal and copyright aspects are in order before commercial music use.

IMPACT OUR BUSINESS

  • Maintain updated repertoire databases, ensuring all songs, compositions, and recordings were correctly recorded and cataloged.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the information in the repertoire is complete and up-to-date.
  • Ensure that all agreements are properly documented and filed.
  • Monitor the progress of A&R projects, ensuring that deadlines are met and all parties involved are aligned.
  • Obtain the necessary licenses and permits for using music in various projects, such as recordings, films, commercials, video games, and other media.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with rights holders, including songwriters, music publishers, and record labels.
  • Ensure that all uses of music comply with applicable copyright laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage unauthorized use of musical repertoires and take appropriate legal action in case of violations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all authorization and licensing agreements.
  • Resolve disputes and clarify questions related to usage rights and licenses.
  • Analyze data related to music usage and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with the legal department to ensure that all actions related to repertoire and licensing are aligned with the company's legal strategy.

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing in both English and Spanish.
