We are looking for a Rigging & Crane Operator (Level II) for SieSaw skid assembly team. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC.
Shift Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Hourly Rate:$23.45/Hour
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Level II Minimum 4 to 3 years of experiencein crane operations and rigging within industrial or construction environments
  • May be trusted with training responsibilities.
  • Capable of handling complex loads, operating multiple crane types, and mentoring others
  • Working knowledge of crane load charts, rigging methods, lift planning, and critical lift execution.
  • Current NCCCO Crane Operator and/or Rigger certification(or equivalent nationally recognized certification).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA crane and rigging regulations and safe work practices.
  • Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and being a strong team player.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • NCCCO Lift Certification
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience working in a manufacturing plant, power generation, or large industrial facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered lift plans and technical drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

  • Operating cranes safely: Lift, move, and position loads under the supervision of a senior operator, using bridge, gantry, or runway cranes
  • Following signals: Respond to hand signals, verbal instructions, and load charts from riggers, signal persons, and supervisors
  • Load verification: Check load weight, center of gravity, and integrity against load charts before lifting
  • Assisting with rigging: Help secure loads with slings, chains, shackles, spreader bars, or other lifting gear under supervision
  • Pre-shift inspections: Assist in inspecting cranes for safety issues such as hoist, trolley, bridge, hook, cables, limit switches, and controls
  • Basic maintenance: Perform minor cleaning, lubrication, or adjustments as directed by supervisors
  • Logging activity: Record lift details, equipment checks, and any issues in required logs
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with ground crew to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Safety compliance: Follow OSHA, ASME B30, and company safety procedures; report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately
