Job Description

Ridgecrest Regional Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrics Physician to provide high-quality outpatient care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. This role is ideal for a provider who values family-centered care, strong communication, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community.

 The Pediatrics Physician will diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, provide preventive care, support healthy growth and development, and work closely with families and caregivers to create clear, effective treatment plans.


Patient Care & Treatment
  • Provide excellent and comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Develop and communicate effective treatment plans with patients and their parents or caregivers.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, including well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and preventive health assessments.
  • Update patient information and medical records with the latest findings, treatments, immunization records, and care plans in the hospital’s electronic medical records.
  • Management of services in accordance with established Clinic’s policies/procedures.
  • Order tests for healthcare staff to administer. Review and interpret test results.
  • Provide guidance to families on preventive care, nutrition, immunizations, growth and development, safety, and overall wellness.
  • Reasonable patient load.
Collaborative Teamwork
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • You’ll work with an assistant, and scribe service or AI scribe to better manage your administrative workload.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Excellent bedside manners.
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • An active CA Medical License is required to start. Assistance is available for licensing.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
