Job description

As a Controls Engineer Level 3, you will be a senior member of the controls engineering team, responsible for leading complex projects and providing technical expertise and guidance. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role requires extensive experience in control system engineering and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of complex control systems for industrial applications.

2. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.

3. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.

4. Develop control system architectures and design solutions to meet project objectives.

5. Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems, ensuring performance and reliability.

6. Oversee system installation, startup, and commissioning activities.

7. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in control system engineering.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in control system design, development, and implementation.

2. Master level ability to create and work with a wide variety of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).

3. Strong understanding of control system theory and advanced control algorithms.

4. Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to completion.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

7. Master level understanding and abilities with schematic software such as Eplan, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, etc.
