Job description

Description
Ria opens ways for a better everyday life. With a presence in nearly 200 countries and territories and more than 600,000 locations worldwide, we're committed to helping millions of people send money home to their loved ones around the world, knowing that our customers deserve much more than just a fair price: they deserve empathy, hope, and ultimately respect.
We're Ria Money Transfer. A subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT), Ria is a leading expert in cross-border payments that delivers innovative financial services, including fast, secure, and affordable global money transfers. With the world's largest cross-border real-time money movement network, Ria moves money where it matters. Bridging the gap between digital and physical spaces, Ria's omnichannel products and services provide unprecedented consumer choice, including real-time payments, mobile wallets, currency exchange, home delivery, and cardless ATM payouts. Ria's global infrastructure, powered by the Dandelion real-time, cross-border payments network, facilitates financial access to customers, agents and partners alike, by creating new market opportunities and promoting economic growth around the world.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Director, Paid Acquisition to own and lead Ria Money Transfer's entire paid media function across the Americas. Ria is a global remittance company moving family money across borders - a high-frequency, low-average-value transaction model where unit economics, payback, and corridor-level efficiency decide whether growth is profitable. This role sets the paid acquisition vision, leads the team that executes it, and is accountable for acquiring new customers at the efficiency the business requires.
You will own strategy and execution across paid search, paid social, app-install, programmatic, and emerging channels; manage a multi-million-dollar budget end to end; and lead a team of channel managers and analysts. You will obsess over unit economics and payback windows, bring advanced rigor on attribution and incrementality, and reconcile platform-reported performance against operational truth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned performance leader who has scaled paid acquisition for a consumer app at scale - ideally in remittances, payments, or another high-frequency fintech - and who can lead both the numbers and the people.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Vision
  • Set and own the AMER paid acquisition vision - strategy and execution across paid search, paid social, app-install (Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns), TikTok, programmatic/CTV, and emerging channels.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches, corridor/geographic expansions, and seasonal spikes (paydays, Mother's Day, Christmas, Lunar New Year, Ramadan/Eid).
  • Build a world-class acquisition engine that delivers growth with precision - obsessing over unit economics, efficiency, and payback windows.

Budget & Channel Ownership
  • Own end-to-end budget management - pacing, forecasting, and reallocation of a multi-million-dollar budget across markets, channels, and segments.
  • Own relationships with key platforms (Google, Meta, Apple, TikTok) and manage agency partners where used.
  • Drive a high-velocity, structured test-and-learn culture across channels and creative.

Measurement & Remittance Economics
  • Apply advanced attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling to inform capital allocation.
  • Own mobile measurement and attribution across self-attributing ad networks via a mobile measurement partner (MMP).
  • Own corridor-level CAC (send-country x receive-country), not just blended CAC, and reconcile platform-reported CAC against operational truth.
  • Manage to multi-transaction LTV and payback - not single-transaction ROAS - given Ria's high-frequency, low-AOV model.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Hire, mentor, and retain a high-accountability, high-creativity paid team (channel leads and analysts).
  • Partner with Creative on testing frameworks and learning agendas; with Analytics on turning performance signals into action.
  • Partner with Product, Pricing, Finance, CRM, and Regional Marketing, and deliver clear performance reporting to leadership.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 8-12+ years in paid/performance/growth marketing, with a track record scaling a consumer app or B2C business at scale.
  • 3-5+ years leading paid media teams (managing managers, not just individual buyers).
  • Demonstrated ownership of multi-million-dollar acquisition budgets.
  • Deep expertise in attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
  • Strong working knowledge of mobile measurement partners (MMP) and how mobile attribution works across self-attributing networks.
  • Channel mastery across Meta, Google (Search + App), Apple Search Ads, TikTok, and programmatic/CTV.
  • Proven hands-on experience using AI tools to drive analysis, automation, and faster decision-making.
  • Strategic capital-allocation mindset: comfortable making and defending where-to-spend decisions across a portfolio.
  • New-customer growth as the headline metric, balanced against CAC, payback, and LTV:CAC as guardrails.

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in remittances, cross-border payments, or another high-frequency, low-AOV fintech.
  • Hands-on experience with a mobile measurement partner (Branch, AppsFlyer, or Adjust).
  • Experience running multi-market, multi-language paid programs for diaspora or immigrant audiences.
  • Professional Spanish.
  • Experience operating in a high-growth scaleup environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude Code for analysis, automation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with internal analytics tools such as Amplitude or similar BI dashboards.

PERKS & BENEFITS
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • 401K Plan with Match
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Paid Vacation / Sick Leave
  • Hybrid Work Schedule
  • Tuition Assistance
  • Growth Opportunities
  • Corporate gatherings, team bonding events, and much more!
