This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Job DescriptionOur team is looking for outstanding, highly motivated, automation and controls professionals who love listening to our customers, working as a team, and proactively taking the lead whenever vital.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!**Responsibilities:*** Support the install and integration of new automated equipment into the manufacturing ecosystem at Blue.* Coordinate with and support of maintenance teams responding to emergent equipment issues.* Manage Automation shop including inventory, kitting and 5S.* Mechanical and electrical assembly and fabrication.* Diagnosis, troubleshooting and modification of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and safety control systems.* Diagnosis, troubleshooting and modification of PLC, Vision and Robot programs.* Identification and escalation of automation continuous improvement opportunities.**Qualifications:*** Completion of secondary education (High School Diploma or GED) required.* Minimum 8+ years’ experience installing, troubleshooting or maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting.* Proficient with computers, the ability to use MS Office, shop floor management software (ERP) and related programs.* Experience with CMMS, Inventory management and shop organization.* Experience troubleshooting and modifying: + Automation control systems including Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs + Industrial robot programs (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) + Industrial vision systems (ex. Keyence, Cognex) + Machine Safety systems software and hardware* Ability to interpret and modify electrical and mechanical drawings.* Experience assembling, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical control panels and circuits.* Experience preferred in fast-paced production environment.* Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment.* Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and with humility to stakeholders.* A strong aptitude for safety culture.**Desired:*** A.S. degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Technology or other relevant Automation/Controls field.* Familiar with various control systems standards such as IEC 61131, ANSI B11, NFPA 79, and RIA 15.06* NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 hour certifications* Excellent technical writing, grammar, and presentation experience* Experience with electrical verification of machines* Experience in defining, implementing, and maintaining controls code from source* Hands on experience with multiple common manufacturing and assembly processes, CNC machines, metrology systems (laser tracking), and inspection**Culture Statement**Don’t meet all desired requirements?
