Job description

Executive Client Service Associate

Cohen Capital Advisors | Chicago, IL | In-Person | Full-Time

$100,000 โ€“ $125,000 + Discretionary Bonus

About Us

Cohen Capital Advisors is an SEC-registered independent RIA based in Chicago managing approximately $1.25 billion in AUM. We launched in January 2026 after 12 years at Raymond James and have built a team of 11 sharp, committed professionals who take pride in the work and in each other. We're growing โ€” deliberately and in the right direction.

The Role

This is not a typical CSA or EA position. We're looking for someone who will operate as a true right hand to our CEO โ€” someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and brings genuine presence to everything they touch.

The split is roughly 50โ€“70% dedicated executive support to the CEO, with the remaining 30โ€“50% as overflow support to our administrative and operations team. Day to day, that means:

  • Owning follow-through on open commitments and action items end to end โ€” tracking them as if they were your own
  • Managing client communication support and correspondence on behalf of the CEO
  • Staying close enough to what's happening across the firm to step in and add value without being asked
  • Supporting operations and client service functions alongside our administrative team
  • Occasional coordination with the CEO's home assistant

The person who thrives here has partnered closely with an advisor or executive before โ€” not just taken tasks and checked boxes, but genuinely owned outcomes. You'll have real access to leadership and learn a tremendous amount about how a high-performing RIA operates. The right fit takes pride in being exceptional at this kind of work.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in wealth management, ideally in an RIA or wirehouse environment โ€” or roughly 3 years in our business with meaningful relevant experience from elsewhere
  • Deep familiarity with wealth management operations, client service, and the rhythm of an advisory practice
  • Exceptionally organized, high attention to detail, and accurate in documentation
  • Smart and genuinely curious โ€” you pick things up quickly and ask good questions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM or client management systems; Fidelity experience is a plus
  • Collaborative and adaptable โ€” comfortable working across advisors, operations staff, and firm leadership while managing multiple priorities
  • Professional and discreet โ€” you'll be close to sensitive client and firm information

Schedule & Culture

This is a full-time, in-person role in Chicago. Hours are reasonable โ€” nobody is expected to work into the evenings. That said, because this role works closely with the CEO, flexibility around core business hours matters. We're a close-knit group and cultural fit is taken seriously in our hiring process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $100,000 โ€“ $125,000 depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health insurance
  • FSA / HSA
  • Commuter FSA
  • Dependent care FSA

Hiring Process

Candidates will interview with members of our team through a process tailored to experience and fit. We move thoughtfully โ€” this is an important hire and we want to get it right. All applications are reviewed confidentially.

  • Cohen Capital Advisors is an equal opportunity employer.
