Job description

About CrossFire Group
Since 2002, CrossFire Group has helped companies build stronger teams through expert staffing and employment solutions. We work with organizations across automotive, defense, healthcare, energy, and utilities, connecting them with the right talent through a proven, compliant, and flexible process. We win because we build real relationships, do the work to find the right technical fit, and make it easy for our clients to do business with us.
The Opportunity
CrossFire Group is looking for a Sales Leader to take the reins of our new business efforts and build out our sales function for the next stage of growth. This is a seat on the CrossFire Group leadership team. We have a proven outbound process, a clearly defined ideal client profile, and a sales culture built on trust and long-term partnerships rather than one-off transactions. What we need now is a leader who can run that engine day to day, grow it, and build a team around it.We run our business on EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), so this role comes with real clarity: a documented sales process, a weekly scorecard, defined targets, and clear priorities ” not a blank slate. Our focus is mid-size and enterprise companies primarily in automotive, defense, healthcare, energy, and utilities. We run our pipeline through HubSpot, with outbound sequencing as a core part of how we generate meetings. This is a rare opportunity to step into a sales leadership role with real infrastructure already in place ” a documented process, defined targets, and a track record of what works ” and make it your own. As CrossFire grows, this role has the potential to expand into overseeing our broader marketing strategy alongside sales.
What You'll Do
Own and grow CrossFire's new business pipeline, from prospecting through signed contracts and successful client kickoffs.Run and continuously improve our outbound sales process” targeting the right companies in our core industries (automotive, defense, healthcare, energy, and utilities), building relationships with key decision-makers, and converting conversations into meetings and meetings into clients.Manage prospecting and outreach through HubSpot, keeping our pipeline and sequences up to date and running.Build long-term, trust-based partnerships with clients rather than chasing one-time transactions.Bring in the right kind of business ” opportunities that are a genuine fit for our clients and that our recruiting team can successfully deliver on.Operate within our EOS framework ” hitting weekly scorecard targets and participating in our regular meeting rhythm (weekly L10s, monthly pipeline reviews, quarterly planning).Recruit, hire, and develop a sales team as CrossFire grows, and build the coaching and accountability rhythm to help them succeed.Represent CrossFire's story clearly and consistently ” why we're different, who we serve best, and what makes us a trusted partner.Collaborate closely with our Employment Solutions and recruiting teams to ensure a smooth handoff from signed client to delivered results.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of B2B sales experience with direct new-business responsibility ” staffing, recruiting, or another relationship-driven B2B sale is ideal.A track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals.Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or a similar CRM) and modern outbound sales tools.Familiarity with EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus, but not required ” you'll pick up our rhythm quickly either way.A relationship-first approach to sales ” someone who listens before they pitch, and who builds partnerships that last. Experience selling to HR, talent acquisition, or operations leaders is a strong plus.Sales leadership or team-building experience is a plus, but we're also open to a strong individual performer who's ready to build and lead a team.Based in or willing to be headquartered in Auburn Hills, MI, with flexibility to travel for client visits and industry conferences (roughly every couple of months). What You'll Bring to Life
At CrossFire, we believe in getting it right, not just getting it done  finding a way for our clients, being straightforward and easy to work with, and building relationships that last well beyond the first placement. If that sounds like how you like to sell, we'd love to talk.
