Job description

This position is responsible for coordinating and writing responses to Asset Management Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) under strict deadlines for external and internal clients. The RFP Coordinator must manage projects independently and with adherence to detailed client specifications. Extensive knowledge of the investments and the RFP process is preferred, as well as the ability to communicate formally in clear, concise writing. In addition to working with senior managers at all levels of the company, the RFP Coordinator interacts with product management, sales and subject matter experts to update product information and positioning and to customize proposals.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead end-to-end development of RFP's, RFI's and DDQ's for existing retail clients.

  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.

  • Ability to lead RFP meetings with subject matter experts throughout the organization and responsible for ensuring the sales positioning is concurrent with sales strategy for each proposal.

  • Develop and facilitate relationships with key business partners/stakeholders.

  • Coordinate multiple deadlines simultaneously, ensuring all internal approvals are secured prior to submission.

  • Assist the Knowledge Manager in managing and updating database content with responses from recent proposals.

  • Contribute to creating and distributing information on improving processes in proposal cycle to team and business partners.

  • Partner cross-functionally with product, investments, legal, compliance, marketing, and distribution to ensure consistent product messaging, regulatory adherence, and go-to-market alignment

  • Prioritize and manage competing content requests by assessing business impact, regulatory complexity, and strategic importance.

  • Partner with product management and investment teams to align messaging with asset class strategies, market positioning, and evolving product roadmaps.

  • Contribute to standardized content libraries by updating materials to reflect product enhancements, market trends, and regulatory changes, improving scalability and consistency of communications.

  • Collaborate closely with product management teams to ensure messaging reflects evolving product enhancements, competitive positioning, and broader product strategy

  • Contribute to the ongoing optimization of the RFP content library by updating and tracking product enhancements and market trends. Support high-impact RFPs for national account opportunities and platform onboarding for wealth channel, coordinating across legal and product, and distribution teams

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
