Pierson Wealth Management is seeking an experienced G2 Financial Advisor to join our growing team in Santa Clarita, CA. This is a high-impact, in-office advisory role for a credentialed financial planning professional ready to own client relationships, lead a service team, and help shape the next chapter of a high-performing independent wealth management firm.

Reporting to the Director of Business Integration & Strategy, the G2 Advisor serves as the primary relationship manager for a defined client tier, leads advanced financial planning and case design, and provides direct day-to-day oversight of two Client Service Associates (CSAs). This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful leadership responsibility and a clear path for growth as the firm scales.

Location: Santa Clarita, CA | Schedule: Full-time, In-Office | Reports To: Director of Business Integration & Strategy

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary advisor for C and D-tier clients and select B-tier relationships
  • Lead client review meetings, build planning deliverables, and manage the full service cycle
  • Collaborate with senior advisors on A-tier and complex planning situations
  • Maintain a consistent, high-quality client experience aligned with PWMโ€™s service standards
  • Support migration to digital client touchpoints (digital reviews, portal adoption) as part of the firmโ€™s evolving service model

Financial Planning & Case Design

  • Lead comprehensive financial plans covering investment strategy, retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning
  • Own case design and illustrations for insurance and advanced planning scenarios
  • Research and apply current planning strategies relevant to high-net-worth clients
  • Remain current on tax law changes, regulatory updates, and industry best practices

Team Leadership & CSA Oversight

  • Provide daily direction, oversight, and performance feedback to two Client Service Associates
  • Review and approve meeting preparation materials; CSAs draft, G2 Advisor signs off before client delivery
  • Set clear expectations, hold accountability, and create a structured, high-performing team environment
  • Maintain consistent in-office presence to provide direct, reliable leadership

Operations & Firm Initiatives

  • Oversee client onboarding, asset transfer processes, and service requests
  • Partner with the Director of Business Integration & Strategy on workflow improvements and firm projects
  • Contribute to the firmโ€™s operational development and adoption of RFG platform tools

Compensation:
$120000
Core Competencies:

The ideal candidate brings both the technical depth to lead complex planning conversations and the leadership presence to manage and develop a service team. We are looking for someone who is precise without being rigid, confident without being dismissive, and driven by the quality of their work as much as their results.

  • Financial Planning Excellence
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Case Design & Insurance Knowledge
  • Detail Orientation & Follow-Through
  • Clear, Confident Communication
  • Operational Discipline
  • Adaptability & Tech Adoption
  • Sound Judgment Under Pressure
  • Collaborative Execution

Behavioral Fit

This role requires someone who brings structure to complex situations and earns trust through consistent follow-through. You will be most successful here if you:

  • Lead with planning and preparation, not product or performance
  • Communicate directly and clearly, even when the message is a difficult one
  • Hold your team to a high standard with both warmth and firmness
  • Operate with a strong sense of duty to clients, colleagues, and the firm
  • Embrace change when the evidence supports it and ask good questions when it doesnโ€™t
  • Are ready to grow into expanded responsibility as the firm scales

Company:

We are a small team that takes our work seriously. Every person here plays a meaningful role. We reward expertise, respect autonomy, and invest in the growth of people who invest in us.

Benefits and Compensation:
  • Salary $100,000-120,000
  • Paid time off
  • Health and dental insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Profit Sharing

  • Experience managing or providing direction to support staff or junior team members
  • Demonstrated track record of owning HNW client relationships independently
  • Life & Health insurance license
  • Experience with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or comparable financial planning software

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Orion
  • Experience with annuity and insurance case design for HNW clients
  • Background in fee-based or fee-only independent advisory environment
