Job description


As an Advanced Wireless/RF Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced wireless and radio frequency systems that support aerospace applications. You will leverage your expertise to solve complex RF challenges and contribute to the innovation of communication and sensing technologies that enhance aerospace performance and reliability.
You will report directly to our leadership team and you'll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on a 9/80 work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the advancement of aerospace communication systems by leading RF design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that align with Honeywell's strategic goals in aerospace technology.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced RF modules and systems tailored for aerospace applications.
  • Perform detailed RF analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure system performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF solutions into aerospace products and systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and RF trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in RF design and development.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in designing and developing RF circuits, modules, or systems for aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of RF principles, wireless communication protocols, and antenna design.
  • Proficiency with RF simulation and analysis tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, ANSYS HFSS, CST, or similar software.
  • Experience conducting RF testing, troubleshooting, and validation in laboratory and field environments.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements related to wireless systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
