The Airborne Multi-Mission Electronics department is seeking a RF Electrical Engineer II based in Forest, Mississippi with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization.  The RF Engineer II will have responsibility for the design, development, and sustainment of the high power antenna test facilities.  This includes leading/working test optimizations, and test time reduction efforts, as well as implementing new test capability in both high power near field and far field ranges in support of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Mid Band program.   In addition, the candidate will be looked to for guidance in production AESA troubleshooting and failure investigations.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify and implement optimizations in AESA calibration and antenna measurement processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AESA hardware and antenna performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to complex RF/DC subsystems
  • Analyze measurement data and generate detailed reports.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or a minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the following: 
    • Experience performing both far-field and near-field antenna measurements.
    • Experience in AESA calibration, test, and / or performance validation.
    • Experience working in high-power antenna test facilities.
    • Experience with design, setup, and / or maintenance of antenna measurement systems.
    • Experience with AESA calibration and antenna measurement processes.
    • Experience using Matlab for data analysis and test development..

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using additional software development tools (e.g. Python, C++, etc.).
  • Experience working in a factory production environment and utilizing production tools (e.g. CMES).
  • RF/Microwave Design Verification Test (DVT) experience using network/spectrum analyzers and/or antenna measurement systems.
  • Comfortable interfacing with technical engineers and presenting to upper-level management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
