• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs and challenges of clients, ensuring that treatment plans are personalized and effectively address individual circumstances.

• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving the well-being of clients, utilizing techniques from solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality while also documenting treatment progress and outcomes for each client.

• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, addiction specialists, and medical staff, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate challenges and effectively utilize community resources.

• Stay current with mental health research and best practices, integrating new knowledge into treatment approaches and sharing insights with the team for continuous improvement.

This position focuses on outpatient clients at a detox center who are often navigating complex issues related to trauma, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Our clientele varies widely, ranging from individuals seeking initial emotional support to those looking for long-term strategies to maintain wellness and recovery. LCSWs play a critical role in creating an environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to take charge of their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license to practice in Georgia.

• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting.

• Proficiency in evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment facility.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.

• Experience conducting psychoeducational groups or workshops.
