Job description

The Chief of Staff will report to and partner directly with the EVP, Revenue, focusing on our Revenue organization. You'll work closely with cross-functional leaders - including RevOps, Sales, and Marketing - to drive execution, alignment, and strategy across our most critical revenue and go-to-market initiatives.

This candidate will help operate key parts of the Revenue business and identify and lead high-impact initiatives. It is critical that the Chief of Staff is aligned to our operating principles. This individual must be able to work in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment. The Chief of Staff will amplify the effectiveness of the EVP and the rest of the Revenue leadership team.

What you will be doing:

  • Help the EVP align revenue goals with company-wide objectives and drive cross-functional execution across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
  • Support the Revenue organization in prioritizing initiatives, managing operating cadences (weekly business reviews, forecast cycles, pipeline reviews), and ensuring follow-through on key decisions and action items
  • Form an independent point of view on what is required to hit ACV/bookings targets. Work with Revenue leadership to identify gaps (coverage, conversion, capacity), define plans to close them, and drive execution
  • Shape and manage the objectives and operating cadence of Revenue leadership team meetings - facilitating discussions on the right topics and managing follow-up on action items
  • Lead and organize content creation for board materials, QBRs, and key documents related to revenue performance and strategy
  • Track and impact pipeline, conversion, and attainment signals across verticals/segments, flagging risks and recommending corrective action
  • Identify opportunities across the go-to-market org and lead high-impact strategic projects (e.g., comp design, forecasting infrastructure, competitive response)

What you should have:

The ideal candidate is someone with 3 - 7+ years of total experience, including experience in either revenue/sales operations, GTM strategy, business consulting (Bain, McKinsey, etc.), or as part of an internal strategy and/or operations team.

  • Alignment with our operating principles (https://www.podium.com/operating-principles/)
  • Located in or open to relocation to work onsite at our headquarters in Lehi, Utah
  • MBA, Bachelor's, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and/or Finance teams
  • Experience working in the SaaS or Technology industry is a plus
  • Comfort with revenue metrics and systems (Salesforce, forecasting/quota models, pipeline analytics)
  • Ability to be a thought partner to the EVP by structuring and solving complex problems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly to drive accountability and action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working with significant change and ambiguity
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve difficult problems
  • Systems thinking and the ability to create new structures or processes
  • Pragmatic and logical in thinking and decision-making
  • Trustworthiness to handle confidential information with integrity

BENEFITS

  • Open and transparent culture
  • Life insurance, long and short-term disability coverage
  • Paid parental leave
  • Fertility benefits
  • Generous vacation time, plus three 4-day summer holiday weekends
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits
