Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business need). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Receiving/ Parts Inventory, but employees may also perform Gearbox Assembly Support, Shipping and general labor functions associated with facility expansions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with duties related to production, production expansion and interdepartmental production flow.

Assist with general inventory and parts including the Receiving, put-away, inventory audit, cycle counting and parts pulling.

Using ProGlove, assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of Gearbox. Ensure the correct parts are pulled based on the bill of materials.

Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory.

Other various shop-floater duties that revolve around production expansion or production fulfillment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

1-2 years preferred, but not required. Forklift experience preferred, but not required.

Skills and Key Attributes:

Ability to read and write. Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 10 hours/day.
