Main purpose of the Retail Personal Stylist role:

This is a full time role for a candidate who is looking to work in contemporary & luxury personal shopping. The Retail Personal Stylist is responsible for working with Revolve & FWRD’s best customers in person & virtually - ensuring an excellent shopping experience for the client, while delivering superior sales results that directly impact Retail store revenue & Key Performance Indicators.


Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Deliver sales results in line with business growth targets within a highly sales-driven environment
  • Take a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to selling—continuously ideating ways to enhance the client experience and increase revenue
  • Build, manage, and grow a high-value client book through consistent outreach, relationship building, and personalized service
  • Develop deep understanding of each client through purchase history, preferences, and behaviors to inform tailored recommendations
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities; execute strategic outreach to drive conversion and retention
  • Increase client lifetime value through thoughtful styling, upselling, and wardrobe building

  • Partner closely with Buying and Merchandising teams to provide feedback on product performance, client demand, and assortment opportunities
  • Acquire new clients while re-engaging lapsed clients through elevated, brand-aligned outreach
  • Analyze client data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales performance updates
  • Stay current on new arrivals, exclusives, and brand initiatives through partnership with Buying/Allocations
  • Support team coverage and collaborate with other stylists as needed
  • Operate with agility—managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Maintain flexibility in schedule to meet client needs


Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Deep expertise in contemporary & luxury fashion, trends, and styling
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, fit, and garment construction
  • Proven ability to operate as a self-starter in a high-performance sales environment
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly proactive—identifies opportunities and acts on them
  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable using data to inform client strategy
  • Embodies the REVOLVE/FWRD brand aesthetic and client experience


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience or styling experience in the contemporary & luxury clothing sector (2 years minimum)
  • 3+ years Retail experience
    • Management a plus
  • Experience in brick and mortar and/or ecommerce
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a client book
  • Strong computer literacy, including working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Gmail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience working with top-tier/VIP clientele
  • Experience contributing to merchandising or buying feedback loops
