Job description

Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 (depending on experience). Location: Mount Vernon, NY office and NYC Metro area project sites. NO STAFFING AGENCY CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is a leading specialty mechanical contractor in the New York metropolitan area. Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC projects from start to completion, including preparation of estimates & takeoffs, purchasing of material, leasing equipment, and scheduling employees. Work with clients, design professionals and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials. Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, scope of work outlines, equipment information to ensure alignment with client needs, industry standards, code requirements and design intent. Review site conditions with field trades to address any challenges to completion of work delivery of equipment & materials on site. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. Maintain regular communication with the client's management team, and adjust schedule and manpower requirements as needed. Qualifications Minimum 10+ years' experience in construction management for commercial HVAC projects. Proven experience managing commercial HVAC projects in the $4 million to $40 million range. Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and execute project based on scope of work requirements, specifications and schedules. Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Good computer skills with strong working knowledge of Word, Adobe, Excel & Outlook. Proficient in Navisworks with knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit for BIM coordination & modeling. Professional certifications such as an Associate's / Bachelor's Degree in Construction related fields or Engineering preferred. HS Diploma/GED required. Excellent written and verbal skills.
