Job description

The core responsibilities of this role include:The Team Lead acts as a liaison with their management team to direct workflow and workforce based on the volume of work duties. They are the subject matter experts of the inbound, outbound, and processing departments. The optimal candidate should strive to set a positive culture at the site.

Position: Group Lead Coordinator

Shift: First Shift Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay: $21.35 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: A minimum of 6 months experience operating material handling equipment including a stand up and sit down forklift. Experience and comfortability operating MHE in reverse is strongly preferred, in addition to experience operating other types of MHE. The Team Lead will support in training new associates. This candidate should be able to operate an handhelf RF, be able to operate Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Blue Yonder, and other required systems.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
  • Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 6-12 months warehouse experience
  • 6-12 months forklift operation experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
