Job description

We have been engaged with a new role for a top rated CPA and accounting advisory services firm in Atlanta, GA, in search for a new hire, skilled as a Tax Manager.


This would be a great position for a senior tax associate with about 4-5 years of good tax work, in LLCs, S-Corps, Partnerships, or other expertise in tax prep and review, ready to move up, get a nice raise, and work on more complex tax cases.



Responsibilities amp; Work Involved:


  • Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with the ability to research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies
  • Ability to perform tax prep and review work with multiple entities including partnerships, C Corps, S Corps, High Net Worth individuals, as well as trusts and estate entities
  • Ability to be a good leader and interact well with other tax employees and act as a mentor and coach for more junior tax employees
  • Work with the partners and founders for reviewing any complex issues and or strategies for multiple clients


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors in accounting or equivalent (Finance, Business, Data analytics)
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience, preferable in a tax role and senior tax role
  • CPA preferred and or CPA in progress and ability to sit for CPA relatively soon
  • Experienced in a variety of Tax / accounting software programs including CCH, Pro System, and or other tax planning software (Thompson Reuters)
  • Experience with tax review on C-Corp, S-Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements

Pay and Benefits:
