Here, innovation and collaboration thrive, and every team member is empowered to deliver warm, personalized service that makes our guests feel right at home.Reunion Resort and Golf Club offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance at 30 days of employment, 401K with employer match, PTO after 6 months of employment (FT employees), employee discounts and much more!Job Title: Security OfficerLocation: Kissimmee, FLFLSA Status: Non-ExemptOnly candidates that meet the below qualifications will be consideredJob ResponsibilitiesKeep up-to-date knowledge of resort events, dining options, outlet hours, etc.Provide exceptional customer service while verifying identification of all guests, members, and visitors entering propertyPerform a wide range of security functions including, but not limited to, patrolling, incident reports, responding to calls, assisting guests, members, and employees, etc.Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policiesPartner with HR for incident reports, investigations, etc.Inquire verbally and visually of any personnel requesting access to the property to validate their authorized entry into the property. Officers are to verify identification of a resident, guest or visitor if they do not know them by face and name.Inspect the safety, cleanliness and preparedness of the assignment (Gatehouse, Patrol Vehicle or Security Office) prior to accepting the post from the Officer you are relieving. Each shift change will complete a facility or vehicle inspection report and turn it in to the Site Manager.Each post and patrol will maintain a pass down log to report critical information concerning that post or patrol. Security Officers will record and review all printed pass-on materials, emails or faxes, etc. into a pass down log. This log is mandatory for all post and is intended to insure Officer’s awareness of activities that may impact operations or the security of the property.Maintain an accurate and complete log of all gate access and any items placed in the Officer’s care, such as, mail, packages, keys, etc.Conduct visual and physical surveys of unoccupied residents and construction sites documenting the patrols using the patrol verification system.Respond to calls for service as requested.Conduct physical inspection of the property, facility and building and patrol the roadways of the property. Document the patrols using the patrol log and patrol verification system.Assist with providing traffic and safety enforcement of vehicles driving on propertyAttend all required meetings and trainings.Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.Must be 18 years of age or olderValid DL is requiredMust have or be able to obtain a Class D Security License within 30 days of employmentFlexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on business need.Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skillsSecurity experience of at least 1 year is preferred. Large luxury resort/hotel experience is a plusMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong computer skillsMust be able to sit, stand, run, and walk for long periods of time.
