Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Returns Coordinator to serve as the key point of contact for managing product returns. This role ensures that returned merchandise is handled efficiently and in line with company standards, providing timely resolutions for our customers and contributing to an optimal post-purchase experience. By bridging customer service, warehouse operations, and inventory control, this function plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence and protecting the company’s reputation. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with Alpinestars’ policies for e-commerce, retail, and wholesale customers
  • Inspect returned items for quality, wear, or damage and determine appropriate disposition (restock, refurbish, return to customer)
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve return-related issues quickly and professionally
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure timely receipt and restocking of returned goods
  • Oversee intake of service orders across multiple departments, delivering accurate check-ins and timely distribution to appropriate teams
  • Maintain accurate records of all return transactions, tracking trends and reporting on common return reasons or product issues
  • Work closely with the quality control and product development teams to relay return feedback and product concerns
  • Assist customers by issuing return labels and processing refunds or credits 
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, returns processing, or customer service (experience in apparel or sporting goods industry a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, return portals, and order management platforms (e.g., Full Circle, Shopify, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Passion for motorsports or action sports culture is a bonus!
