Fast-paced apparel company seeking flexible team player for part time, multi-faceted warehouse position. The role will encompass a variety of duties, so ideal candidates should be comfortable wearing many hats and be able to hit the ground running. Some extended hours/weekend work may be required during busier times of the year.
Requirements:
Professional who is extremely organized, detail oriented, and has excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to be self-sufficient, multi-task, work on their own with limited direction, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable shifting roles and joining in on any task
Background in logistics/shipping
Can lift boxes up to 65 lbs
Proficient with Mac, Dropbox and Microsoft Office: Excel/Word
Self-learner with the ability to learn quickly
Daily Responsibilities:
Assist in all shipping duties, including but not limited to:
Receiving/organizing incoming shipments
Picking/packing/lifting outgoing shipments
Processing online orders
Processing returns
Processing boutique shipments
Processing drop ship orders
Scheduling all major store routing requests via correct portals
Following all guidelines specific to individual customers
Condensing/maintaining stock levels
Creating accurate garment labels/UPC stickers in Word/Excel
Performing scheduled monthly cycle counts
Scheduling/delivering packed orders
Visit our local factories to deliver/pick up goods
Assist in companywide projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness: breaking down/discarding boxes, ensuring the area is tidy, sweeping, organizing excess stock, etc
Apparel industry experience is a plus but is not required.
