Job description

Job Title: Summer Camp and Retreat Center Registrar (full-time)

Position Summary: The Registrar is a full-time, year-round position that provides oversight for LOMIK's camp registration, retreat reservations, participant records, and administrative systems across all three LOMIK camp properties. This position serves as the first point of connection between LOMIK and the camper families and guests it serves, ensuring accurate, efficient, timely and welcoming interactions with all participants.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in registration, administrative coordination, hospitality, customer service, database management, or related field
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, reservations, and administrative processes
  • Experience working with registration software, reservation systems, databases, spreadsheets, calendars, or similar administrative systems
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive participant information
  • Ability to troubleshoot administrative, registration, and reservation issues and identify practical solutions
  • Ability to work independently while maintining strong collaborative relationships with site directors and camp staff
  • Commitment to Christian values and the mission of LOMIK
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and related technology
  • Ability to learn and effectively manage new administrative and registration systems
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed during peak registation, retreat, and camp seasons

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work primarily in an office environment with extended periods of computer use
  • Ability to occasionally travel between LOMIK camp properties
  • Ability to participate in camp activities meetings, and events as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry office materials and supplies as necessary
