Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Photography Co-Op supports expanding Amazon and eCommerce photography initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience producing product imagery for service parts, accessories, and expanding whole goods categories, with images used across Amazon, shop.midmark.com, and Midmark.com.
The co-op will work closely with a dedicated product photographer and the digital marketing team in a real-world, production-focused studio environment, gaining exposure to scalable photography, editing, and workflow processes.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Photography Support
    • Assists the product photographer with photographing products according to established lighting, composition, background, and styling standards.
    • Supports photography of a wide range of products, from small technical parts to larger assembled or whole good items.
    • Helps stage, organize, and prepare products for photography sessions.
    • Participates in batch photography sessions under direct guidance.
  • Editing and File Preparation
    • Assists with photo editing in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
    • Applies consistent crops, background cleanup, and basic retouching as trained.
    • Prepares image files according to naming conventions, organization standards, and platform requirements.
  • Studio and Workflow Support
    • Helps maintain an organized studio space and structured digital file system.
    • Assists with tracking photographed SKUs and completed images.
    • Follows documented workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Learning and Collaboration
    • Learns best practices for eCommerce and multi-channel product photography.
    • Receives regular feedback and coaching from the product photographer and project lead.
    • Collaborates professionally within a team-oriented, production-driven environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in a photography, graphic design, visual communication, or related academic program. Has basic understanding of digital photography concepts and experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom.
