Opportunity

A well-established electrical construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead the project team and oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects. They will manage files, goals, subcontractor agreements, project books, insurance, payments, payrolls, and all associated project administration. This position will also be involved in bidding, estimating, and project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
  • Lead projects from preconstruction to completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

  • Conduct kickoff, progress, coordination, and close-out meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, engineers, and owners.

  • Manage project documentation, budgets, procurement plans, invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor agreements.

  • Analyze project drawings and specifications; perform takeoffs, material planning, and cost management.

  • Provide leadership and direction to project staff and superintendents, ensuring adherence to safety programs.

  • Utilize project management software for scheduling, reporting, and tracking progress.

  • Monitor performance metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion.


What You Bring (Qualifications & Education)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably electrical; airport/airfield experience a plus.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (HeavyJob, VISTA Viewpoint, MS Project, Smartsheet) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management expertise.
