Job description

Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting North America invite individuals who are passionate about helping to create the future of tax and accounting to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Sr. Sales Business Retention Associate for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting you will perform inside sales activities related to the existing customer base. Your primary responsibility is to secure the various software product renewals, increase revenue through upselling and delivering on annual price increases. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating, uncovering and forwarding leads to the appropriate sales channels. You will report to the Associate Director, Sales Business Retention.

Key Tasks:

Learns full line of Tax & Accounting software products including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition and competitive position in order to effectively serve clients

Handles renewal activity for Tax & Accounting software customers to effectively promote and facilitate a positive renewal environment for the customer

Handles add-on sales activity and other sales services

Executes the sales process for Tax & Accounting Software products and services by staying fully informed of the prescribed sales process

Actively evaluates and explores new practices and tools to improve processes consistent with company guidelines and presents to management for implementation consideration

Effectively tracks and manages renewal cycles throughout the year

Manages additional high-profile accounts for tax compliance

Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

You're a Great Fit if You Have:

Education:

BS/BA degree in a business-related field; Or if no degree, equivalent years of relevant work experience

Minimum Experience:

Two+ years of experience in a sales/account management, customer service or customer facing role including:

Experience using online presentation tools (MS Teams)

Excellent verbal and written English language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of B2B retention/renewals or inside sales experience working with an intangible product; preferably SaaS/software subscription-based products

Formalized sales training (e.g., Holden, Complex Sale, Solutions Selling, Miller Heiman, The Challenger Sales Module)

Working knowledge of Tax & Accounting industry and Audit principles, practices and terminology

Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application

Core Competency Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently with minimal supervision

Demonstrated ability to create positive working relationships with customers, co-workers, and leaders

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively to meet business needs

Ability to work flexible schedule and manage overtime as required meeting objectives during peak season

Compensation:

$40,000.00 - $67,550.00 USDThis role is eligible for Commission.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
