Retail Store Operations is aimed to support the business and our retail colleagues while updating and reinforcing day-to-day operations across multiple growth initiatives. Keeping our colleagues at the heart of everything we do, the strategy this role will be a key player in creating strategies that influence and impact our store colleagues. In addition, you will work on innovative solutions that create efficiencies for our colleagues optimizing how they work. In this role, you will leverage and provide data driven insights to support field and store execution, evolving processes as needed to streamline operations and deliver optimal outcomes. The team will collaborate across various stakeholder groups including but not limited to; store operations, real estate, communications, change management, merchandising, Rx Growth and IT partners to ensure our store and field leaders have a clear and actionable strategy to drive successful outcomes across key retail market growth and disruption priorities.

In Retail Operations, we play the role of internal consultants who bring strategy to life in various parts of the front store, pharmacy, and customer experience. Our team is working to transform healthcare through innovations that make quality care accessible, easier to use, and more patient focused.

  • Through internal collaboration and external partnerships, we launch cutting-edge services that help patients lead healthier lives

  • By combining big data and qualitative human-centered research, we design workflow enhancements that reduce barriers and improve healthcare

Expectations for the Ideal Candidate

  • Lead delivery of entire workstreams to support initiatives that have a profound impact on the future direction of the company
  • Engage in leading the development and implementation of new workflow or central operations projects already committed for deployment, as well as solution definition, testing, and implementation of new initiatives needed to support operations for our retail front store and pharmacy business
  • Lead the diagnosis, solution development, and planning of new strategic initiatives that incorporate all of the company's assets and delivery methods
  • Establish well-supported solutions with specific recommendations that will enable the executive management team to make critical decisions
  • Scope, plan, and perform quantitative analyses that will yield critical answers to the questions at hand. Understand and procure the required information to complete the analyses
  • Manage the delivery of timely, zero-defect analyses, and serve as a "Player/Coach" in this role
  • Support senior business leaders across the enterprise to define requirements needed and align with retail product development teams to ensure portfolio of capabilities are optimally developed in support of enterprise initiatives
  • Support Retail Pharmacy leadership team to develop strategic perspective on existing and new retail pharmacy opportunities including sizing and assessing markets, identifying risks/benefits of opportunities and recommending clinical growth strategies

Required qualifications

  • Meet the educational requirements (pursuing an MBA /
  • 2+ years' professional work experience in related field post-undergrad. Examples include: consulting, healthcare, and or operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a role that provided exposure to product development, product management, strategic analysis, operations, and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • 8+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • 8+ years' experience building high-performing teams
  • 8+ years' experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals
  • 8+ years' experience influencing without authority
  • Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative portfolio and growth analysis.
  • Knowledge of change management techniques a plus
  • Experience in creating playbooks and risk mitigation strategies

Education

  • Currently pursuing a MBA, MPH, MHA, MSBA, or other related MS degree
  • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 and August 2027

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
