Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architectural Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage architectural projects from concept to completion while also handling the development of construction documents with drafting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architecture or a related field, with the ability to work effectively both as a project manager and a hands-on draftsperson. Though this role has dual responsibilities as both a Project Manager and hands-on drafting work, if you are stronger in one area or the other, you can grow into the other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee architectural projects, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations from initial concept through completion.
  • Prepare architectural drawings, schematics, and technical details using drafting software.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate various disciplines into cohesive project plans.
  • Monitor construction phases to ensure that projects are executed in alignment with approved designs and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit documents and coordinate with regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet high standards of quality and are completed on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field (required).
  • Proven experience managing architectural projects from planning through execution.
  • Proficiency in architectural drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
