Software Engineer

5-8 years of Java development experience (they're open to front-end, full stack or backend developers)

Must have experience developing large scale enterprise level (millions of users) UI and/or backend applications

Experience with React Native

Experience publishing and consuming with Kafka or similar product for messaging

Experience with CassandraDB (NoSQL database management system) or MariaDB (opensource version, similar to MySQL)

What you'll do at Walmart Labs In the Store Retail Services group this developer will work as part of a team to design, build, and field some of the world's highest-volume retail systems. Walmart is creating a new generation of store systems that enable our associates to work smarter AND provide excellent service for our customers. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
