Job description

Purpose of the Job

HH Global is seeking a detail-oriented Planogram Specialist to develop and implement effective planograms for retail temporary displays. The Planogram Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining visual merchandise plans that optimize product placement, enhance customer experience, and drive operational efficiencies while maintaining structural integrity.

This will be a hybrid position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will be required to be in office 2-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Planograms: Create detailed planograms for temporary retail displays using specialized software (BlueYonder Space Planning Plus) to ensure optimal product placement and visual appeal.
  • Analyze Data: Utilize product attributes (pairings, price points, size, weight, etc) to determine the most effective product placement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the merchandising, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align product assortments with campaign goals, allocations, strategies and structural integrity. Provide clear instructions and support to production team for the proper setup and pack out of POP displays.
  • Coordinate with Production and Product Purchase teams: Ensure planograms are implemented correctly and maintained across various displays. Coordinate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of planograms in the displays. Perform first build audits to ensure compliance with established planograms and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to support our launch and growth, utilizing BlueYonder Space Planning Plus and other applications.
  • Monitor Performance: Track and report on the effectiveness of planograms, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously enhance planogram designs.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experience in retail merchandising, planogram design, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proficiency in BlueYonder Space Planning Plus preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in creating and maintaining planograms
  • Ability to adapt to changing retail environments and customer preferences

The US base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.  

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.Â
