Job description

Lead the Team. Drive the Operation. Keep Projects Moving.

HANSONS is looking for a Project Operations Manager to lead our Project Coordinator and Branch Coordinator teams and drive execution across our growing, multi-location home improvement business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to lead people, manage through data, solve operational problems, and create accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Your mission is simple: keep projects moving.

You'll lead the teams responsible for helping customer projects progress from project readiness through installation and collection—ensuring available work gets scheduled, installation capacity is utilized, revenue is realized, customers are communicated with, and operational barriers are resolved quickly.

What You'll Own

  • Lead, coach, and develop our Project Coordinator and Branch Coordinator teams
  • Drive project progression, installation readiness, and scheduling across multiple locations
  • Maximize available installation capacity and help drive install revenue performance
  • Monitor operational KPIs, aging projects, collections, and other key performance indicators
  • Allocate team resources based on workload, business priorities, and customer needs
  • Create clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results
  • Identify and resolve barriers that cause projects or revenue to stall
  • Partner closely with General Managers, Service, Permits, installation teams, and other operational leaders
  • Improve workflows and identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes
  • Lead the team through evolving processes, systems, and business needs

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, scheduling, installation operations, or a related field
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing performance through KPIs, dashboards, or operational scorecards
  • Ability to identify problems, establish ownership, and drive solutions through completion
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or markets is a plus
  • Power BI experience is a plus
  • Experience in home improvement, construction, installation, field service, or another high-volume operational environment is strongly preferred.

You'll Thrive Here If You

  • Love developing people and building strong teams
  • Naturally look for ways to make processes faster and better
  • Use data to understand what's happening and take action
  • Don't wait for problems to escalate before addressing them
  • Can balance customer experience with operational and financial results
  • Are comfortable holding people accountable while helping them improve
  • Enjoy working across teams to get things done
  • Can lead effectively through change

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000–$80,000 base salary
  • 10% bonus opportunity
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Leadership development and career growth opportunities

Why HANSONS?

For more than 35 years, HANSONS has helped homeowners love where they live by providing home improvement solutions backed by a commitment to an exceptional customer experience.

We're continuing to strengthen how we support customers and our field teams, and this role will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how our operation performs and evolves.

If you're a strong people leader who knows how to turn operational complexity into clear priorities, accountability, and results, we'd love to talk to you.
