Job Summary:  

The Retail Lead is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Acts as store department lead and helps ensure the department had appropriate inventory levels. 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $26.88/hr  

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

  • Housing Availability: Yes 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Generate sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service 

  • Responsible for opening and closing store 

  • Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth 

  • Manage retail and rental inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals 

  • Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies 

  • Manage sales floor team and rental process 

  • Act as a mentor who can train and lead a sales team with effective communication 

  • Provide great customer service to all guests 

  • Ensure pricing is accurate and current including any and all promotions 

  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise 

  • Other duties as assigned  

Job Requirements:  

  • Previous retail sales experience - required 

  • Previous snow sport industry experience - preferred 

  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - required 

  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry  

  • Commitment to exceptional customer service 

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends – required 

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs 

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
