Position Summary

As the Deputy Store Manager, you will be the Store Manager's second-in-command, helping lead all aspects of store operations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee multiple departments, develop leaders, drive commercial performance, and ensure operational excellence across the entire store.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced retail manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about developing people, delivering results, and building high-performing teams.


What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales, profitability, customer experience, and operational goals.
  • Assume responsibility for overall store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers, Supervisors, and store associates to build a high-performing team.
  • Drive execution of company standards across merchandising, inventory management, replenishment, visual presentation, and operational processes.
  • Monitor overall store performance, analyze KPIs, identify opportunities, and implement action plans to improve results.
  • Support workforce planning, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by maintaining a strong leadership presence on the sales floor.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute promotions, seasonal changes, and new product launches.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, stockroom organization, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture focused on accountability and development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across the store.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5+ years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Store Manager, Store Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Experience leading multiple departments within a high-volume retail environment.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop leaders while driving business performance.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, workforce planning, and customer service.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analyzing KPIs and delivering action plans.
